Siamese Cookie Embedding Networks for Cross-Device User Matching
نویسندگان
چکیده
Over the last decade, the number of devices per person has increased substantially. is poses a challenge for cookie-based personalization applications, such as online search and advertising, as it narrows the personalization signal to a single device environment. A key task is to find which cookies belong to the same person to recover a complete cross-device user journey. Recent work on the topic has shown the benefits of using unsupervised embeddings learned on user event sequences. In this paper, we extend this approach to a supervised seing and introduce the Siamese Cookie EmbeddingNetwork (SCEmNet), a siamese convolutional architecture that leverages the multi-modal aspect of sequences, and show significant improvement over the state-of-the-art.

Common Variable Learning and Invariant Representation Learning using Siamese Neural Networks
We consider the statistical problem of learning common source of variability in data which are synchronously captured by multiple sensors, and demonstrate that Siamese neural networks can be naturally applied to this problem. This approach is useful in particular in exploratory, data-driven applications, where neither a model nor label information is available. In recent years, many researchers...
متن کاملDeep Learning Improves Template Matching by Normalized Cross Correlation
Template matching by normalized cross correlation (NCC) is widely used for finding image correspondences. We improve the robustness of this algorithm by preprocessing images with "siamese" convolutional networks trained to maximize the contrast between NCC values of true and false matches. The improvement is quantified using patches of brain images from serial section electron microscopy. Relat...
متن کاملLocalizing and Orienting Street Views Using Overhead Imagery
In this paper we aim to determine the location and orientation of a ground-level query image by matching to a reference database of overhead (e.g. satellite) images. For this task we collect a new dataset with one million pairs of street view and overhead images sampled from eleven U.S. cities. We explore several deep CNN architectures for crossdomain matching – Classification, Hybrid, Siamese,...
متن کاملSiamese-GAN: Learning Invariant Representations for Aerial Vehicle Image Categorization
In this paper, we present a new algorithm for cross-domain classification in aerial vehicle images based on generative adversarial networks (GANs). The proposed method, called Siamese-GAN, learns invariant feature representations for both labeled and unlabeled images coming from two different domains. To this end, we train in an adversarial manner a Siamese encoder–decoder architecture coupled ...
متن کاملMeasuring Cross-Device Online Audiences
We extend the work of Koehler, Skvortsov, and Vos (2013) to measure cross-device online audiences. The method performs demographic corrections in the usual way device-by-device. A new method that converts cross-device cookie counts to user counts is introduced. We provide practical recipes for fitting this transformation function and then demonstrate its use using online panel data from Japan.
